Core Areas of Study

  • Currently taking AP Biology, where I explore topics in cell biology, genetics, anatomy, and physiology. My coursework is supported by hands-on research at AttisLab + SKKU, where I studied stem cells and organoid models in regenerative medicine. To deepen my understanding, I completed the Coursera course “The Science of Stem Cells,” which enhanced my knowledge of cellular differentiation and therapeutic applications.

  • Completed AP Chemistry, gaining a strong foundation in organic and inorganic chemistry, molecular structures, and chemical reactions. I applied these principles during my AttisLab internship, performing DNA extraction, PCR testing, and gel electrophoresis to analyze biological samples. These experiences strengthened my grasp of biochemical interactions and their medical relevance.

  • Completed AP Calculus, which sharpened my logical reasoning and quantitative problem-solving skills. I’ve applied these mathematical tools to interpret experimental data and design models in both lab and public health research. This training has been essential for data analysis and accuracy in scientific inquiry.

  • Studied epidemiology, environmental science, and social determinants of health through coursework and field experience. Projects such as the Silvery Village Senior Project and Gibit provided real-world insight into how social and environmental factors influence community well-being. I also completed the Coursera course “Introduction to Dental Medicine” (University of Pennsylvania) to connect clinical dentistry with public health principles and explore how equitable access to healthcare can be achieved through preventive care and education

  • Developed skills in data analysis, AI applications, programming, and no-code web development to connect technology with accessibility and social impact. Through Gibit, I designed transparent donation systems that improved digital access for underserved students, and at WebX and Nocodemy, I contributed to building websites for local organizations and communities. I also led a schoolwide AI Literacy Tutorial to promote ethical and effective AI use in education. To further strengthen my technical foundation, I earned a certificate in Python programming from Codecademy, gaining experience in logic, automation, and data handling.
