AI Literacy Workshop

May 2025 – Present

At Grace International Academy (GIA), I am co-developing and preparing to lead an AI Literacy Tutorial designed for the entire school community. The program introduces students and teachers to the responsible and effective use of generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and NotebookLM, emphasizing both functional literacy (how to use AI for creativity, research, and learning) and critical literacy (understanding bias, privacy, and ethical implications).

Recently, a tutorial was officially published on Toddle, an AI-powered teaching and learning platform primarily used by K–12 schools to track classes, assessments, and grades. At GIA, it has been added as a formal course accessible to all students from middle school through high school, as well as to teachers.

Our curriculum includes hands-on demonstrations, prompt-design workshops, and discussions on AI ethics and academic applications. By combining technical skills with ethical reflection, the tutorial aims to help students and educators develop digital fluency, academic integrity, and confidence in navigating an increasingly AI-driven world.
